Kenwood TS-590

The Kenwood TS-590 held its debut at the 2010 Dayton Hamvention. It promises impressive, yet affordable amateur operation on the HF and 6 meter bands. It utilizes the very latest technology including down conversion with the 1st IF at 11 MHz, true 32 bit IF DP, roofing filters, USB port, etc. Excellent DSP receive performance is expected, combined with ergonomic operation.




Kenwood has not yet announced final features, specifications, pricing or availability. The model number is tentative. Photographs shown may not represent final production units. This radio is expected in Fall 2010. More technical information and additional photos will be added as soon as they become available

I have to admit this radio looks very intresting. Hopefully Kenwood have gone back to making rigs like they used to as the others seem to be releasing a lot more radio's then Kenwood have. we will have to wait and see when this come out in the Fall.
